TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the services Daehan Transport provides through this website.
Article 1 (Purpose and Definition of Services)
These terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the international freight forwarding and domestic cargo dispatch services (the 'Services') that Daehan Transport (the 'Company') provides through this website. The Services comprise: 1. International ocean and air forwarding: arranging loading at the supplier in Korea, inland transport, port booking and vessel loading, and preparation of destination customs documents 2. Domestic cargo dispatch: arranging trucks for domestic legs such as industrial complexes 3. Related online functions such as quotations, document guidance and progress tracking
Article 2 (Member Obligations)
Members must provide accurate company and contact information when registering and using the Services, and update it without delay when it changes. Members may not transfer or lend their account to a third party, and members bear any disadvantage arising from negligent account management. Members must comply with applicable laws, these terms, and the instructions shown in the Services.
Article 3 (Accuracy of Documents)
Documents used for export and import clearance (commercial invoice, packing list, etc.) are prepared on the basis of information provided by the member. The member is responsible for the accuracy of that information, and any customs delay, fine or additional cost caused by inaccurate information is borne by the member. The Company reviews submitted documents and advises on corrections, but this does not replace the member's own duty to verify them.
Article 4 (Quotations, Contracts and Payment)
The specific conditions of each shipment — quotation, freight, payment terms and the handling of delays — are governed by the service agreement and freight debit note concluded for that shipment. Where those documents differ from these terms, the individual agreement prevails.
Article 5 (Limitation of Liability)
The Company is not liable for loss caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes, port closures, or schedule changes by shipping lines and airlines. The Company's liability is limited to the scope set by applicable law and the individual agreement. Cargo insurance is not included in the freight (the Company arranges cover on request). The international carriage leg may be subject to the carrier's terms of carriage and applicable international conventions.
Article 6 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These terms and any dispute concerning the Services are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be brought before the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
